Good Bye Hungary - Hello Austria!

We had a very nice last day in Eger before catching the train to Vienna, Austria. We wanted to do the local baths once again and Zsuzsa drove us to a VERY local place out of town about 10 km. We have to say that at first we were a little scared when we saw the row of portopotties. But, we dove right in and the water felt great. Julie was super sad that the spinning pool was not operational but we enjoyed floating around getting healthy. This particular water is only one of 3 in the world and people come from all over to soak and heal. That night Zsolt and Zsuzsa treated us to a wonderful Hungarian meal at a restaurant near the wine caves. It was terrific and we had a fabulous time. We laughed a lot with them! We have invited them to Portland for an American BBQ and some great wine tasting and you are all invited when they come visit! It´s confirmed! Zsuzsa and her two girlfriends, including Cookie Man´s girlfriendand veggie mans wife, will be arriving in Prague Friday afternoon and are staying with us in an apartment for the weekend and we are so excited! Stay tuned for "4 blondes and 1 brunette gone wild!" We are celebrating Julie´s birthday on Saturday and Zsuzsa´s upcoming birthday on October 31st. Fun times ahead! This internet cafe doesn´t let us download so you will have to wait for the pics. Bye for now!

I have an idea there may be more smiling Hungarians after your vist. Your photos are great. It is fun to follow your wine & food tasting adventures. I can't wait to hear what you think of Prague. I have been told by several people that it is one of the most beautiful cities of Europe. Sounds like the Servas program is a success so far. Take care, Lyn

What a fun time in Hungary! I must say it made me envious to read your stories. Sounds like you've made new friends and we would enjoy meeting them if they come to Portland.

Enjoy the train ride to Austria.

Hey women! I feel so bad this is the first time I have chimed in...you guys are doing an awesome job updating your blog and letting us all live vicariously through you! Great photos too...
Julie, your Dogs put up a great fight against USC last Saturday and we thought they were going to actually win...but those darn Trojans wouldn't quit and ended up prevailing. I was totally rooting for you and the mutts.
Have fun with the girls this weekend. Can't wait for the video to come out! Keep having fun and finding that great wine. Think about you guys often.
